These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Toddlers & Scholars Academy website, the parent/guardian mobile application ("the App"), and all related services provided by the school ("Services"). "You" refers to any parent, guardian, or authorised representative accessing our Services.

By registering an account, enrolling a child, or otherwise using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Toddlers & Scholars Academy provides early childhood education and care for children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years. Our Services include, but are not limited to:

• Day-care, nursery, and pre-school education programmes.
• Daily reporting and activity updates via the parent app.
• Session booking and scheduling.
• Parent–staff communication via in-app messaging.
• Gallery access for class photos and videos.
• Invoice management and fee payment tracking.
• Attendance records and consent management.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Enrolment at Toddlers & Scholars Academy is subject to availability and the following conditions:

• A completed admissions application and all required documentation must be submitted before a place is confirmed.
• The school reserves the right to accept or decline any application, including where a child's needs cannot be adequately met by our current provision.
• A child profile must be submitted and approved by the school administration before the parent app is fully activated for that child.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including medical details and emergency contacts, and notify us promptly of any changes.
• Enrolment is for the academic term or period specified and does not constitute a guarantee of placement in subsequent terms.

• Fee schedule: school fees and session rates are communicated at enrolment and may be updated at the start of each academic term with reasonable notice.
• Payment terms: fees are due by the date specified on each invoice. Late payment may result in suspension of services.
• No refunds for absences: fees are not refunded or credited for days your child is absent, including absences due to illness, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Withdrawal: a minimum of four (4) weeks' written notice is required to withdraw a child from enrolment. Fees remain payable during the notice period.
• Outstanding fees: the school reserves the right to withhold access to the App where fees remain outstanding beyond 30 days.

• The App is provided solely for parents and guardians of enrolled children. Your account is personal and non-transferable.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• The App requires an internet connection for real-time features. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by connectivity issues.
• Push notifications can be customised within the App's notification settings. Disabling notifications may cause you to miss important school communications.
• The App may be updated periodically. Continued use of an outdated version is at your own risk.

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Share your account credentials with any person not authorised to access your child's records.
• Attempt to access another parent's or child's data without authorisation.
• Use the in-app messaging system to send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages to staff or other parents.
• Upload or share content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the security of our systems.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

• The school has a strict safeguarding policy. All staff are trained and vetted in child protection procedures.
• Only persons listed as authorised on the child's profile may collect the child. You are responsible for keeping this list accurate and up to date.
• We reserve the right to contact emergency services or the appropriate authorities if we have reasonable concern for a child's welfare, without prior notice to the parent.
• Any concerns about a child's safety — inside or outside school — should be reported to us immediately.

• The school may photograph or video children during educational activities for use in the parent app gallery, school newsletters, or promotional materials on the school's own channels.
• By enrolling your child, you grant the school permission to take and use such photographs unless you opt out in writing.
• Photos shared in the parent app are for the personal use of linked parents only. Sharing or distributing photos of other children without parental consent is strictly prohibited.
• Third-party photography on school premises is subject to the school's media consent policy.

All content on the school's website and app — including text, images, logos, programme descriptions, and software — is the property of Toddlers & Scholars Academy or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:

• Our Services are provided "as is". We make no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, our Services.
• Our total liability to you for any direct loss shall not exceed the fees paid by you to the school in the preceding one (1) month.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App and our Services, with or without notice, if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms.
• Your child is no longer enrolled at the school.
• Fees remain unpaid for an extended period.
• We determine that continued access poses a risk to the safety or privacy of others.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oyo State, Nigeria.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally before resorting to legal proceedings.
